ECHO BEACH PARTY - Ontario Place
Saturday, July 16 , 11 am till 5:30 pm
Admission : FREE!!!!
The Toronto Maplereefers will be hosting a Jimmy Buffett pre-concert party at Ontario Place's Echo Beach.
Echo Beach is located at the east end of Ontario Place, east of the Molson Amphitheater.
The fun will start around 11:oo am and end when the gates to the concert open. DJ Rocky and Tropical Daze will be providing the entertainment, playing summer songs you all remember from summers past, plus some "songs you know by heart"
This is a parrotkeets friendly event. There will be vendors selling food and beverages. There will also be licensed vendors providing parrotheads with beer and margaritas.
Stay tuned as more info becomes available.
For our out of province guests, unlike the U.S. amphitheaters, which are stand alone venues, Molson Ampitheater is located inside Ontario Place Park. Past concerts at this venue were held in June and September when the park was closed. With the concert being held on a weekend in July, parking at the park will be limited and "US style tailgate parties" are not allowed. There is additional parking at the CNE on the north side of Lakeshore Boulvard.

Pressing the grass skirt as we speak and then gal pal and I heading to Echo Beach. Any Calgary parrotheads there? Met a most friendly bunch at big Las Vegas party once. Anyway, I'll have the blue Pirates of Antigua hat on and plan to video some of the action if I can post it later (via PlayBook). PhinsUp Toronto! Here comes MuskokaParrot. Hope we don't have to park the Muskokah car too far away.

Bringing my wife and four friends from Rochester, NY tomorrow. Can't wait. Haven't seen Jimmy since Man sfield 2004. Way too long.

Thanks for the unvite. 5 of us Parrotheads that usually go to Alpine Valley are coming from IL. Is this beach party a swimming event. I am hoping for a preconcert float! See you there. John

Hi Kathy.... we have asked that along with beer sales that there be margarita's, wine cooler, water, pop. Yes you can bring in blankets or chairs to sit on. We have asked for picnic tables and chairs but we don't know how many they.
