An army of Maplereefer Volunteers will descend on Cherry Beach with the determination to leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of keeping the best beach in Toronto, Cherry. Please meet us at Cherry Beach at The Tiki Hut at 9:45am. Clean up will continue with breaks until 2pm at which time the trucks will arrive to pick up the spoils of our labour.
Bring gloves and sunscreen. We’ll have lots of garbage bags and plenty of water.
We still need volunteers for our Cherry Beach Clean-up.
Come out and join in the fun – it’s a great occasion to bring the Keets along.
We’ll be serving up homemade Gumbo and Cheeseburgers to reward your hard work, so bring your own lawnchair and Corona and lime for relaxing on the beach afterwards.
Decorate your hats, gloves and boots in the usual Parrothead fashion and the best decorated Parrothead will win a prize. There will also be a prize for the most interesting piece of garbage found.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
We will need a head count to buy the food, so please email Kirsten at email@example.com if you are attending.
