Volunteer at Canada Blooms

Maple Reefers can increase our charitable hours for 2017 by volunteering at Canada Blooms again this year! Those who participated last year had a great time!

If we sign up now, we are being offered first dibs on dates/times to sell ice-cream at one of 3 Harris Ice Cream carts. Grab a PHriend as 2 people work together at one cart. Dress in true Parrothead style in your most colourful flowered shirt!

Preferred qualifications/skills include being friendly, ability to stand for the shift and math skills to make proper change.

Volunteers will receive 1 Canada Blooms ticket per shift (up to 3 tickets), which includes entrance to the National Home Show! Both shows are on March 10-19, at the Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place. In addition, pickOntario is generously providing volunteers with a plant per volunteer, which will be received on the final day they volunteer. TBG is offering 10% off at their booth onsite for volunteers and there will be a goody bag. Volunteers must sign in/out at the volunteer room to receive their gifts. canadablooms.com

Proceeds from the ice cream sales go to support horticultural and community projects.
